Hunter Skurka

Hunter is one of LIFA’s co-president’s for the 2024-2025 academic year. Hunter first joined LIFA in 2021 as a Junior Executive, and has since served in various roles across the club, both on the executive team as a Director of Marketing and Vice President of Events, and as a part of the analyst program as a Junior Analyst and a Senior Analyst covering the Financial Services Sector.Hunter is currently working at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) as a Private Equity Co-Op Analyst, focused on analyzing opportunities in the technology, healthcare, business services, and consumer services indsutries through both direct and fund investments. Hunter has also previously interned at Novacap, as an Investment Intern on their Financial Services fund, at Fax Capital as an Investment Analyst, and at Brookfield Business Partners (BBU) as a Private Equity Intern.Hunter is originally from Toronto, Ontario, where he graduated from Crescent School. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, travelling, playing squash, and spending time with friends and family.
