John Van Wyk

John is a third-year BBA student at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, minoring in economics. Since his first year, he has been actively involved with the Laurier Investment and Finance Association (LIFA), where he was selected as a junior analyst. His professional experience includes internships at KPMG and Clark and Horner LLP. This winter, he will join Peloton Capital Management as a Private Equity Analyst for his next co-op. Outside of academics and work, John enjoys reading—ranging from fiction, such as Demon Copperhead, to autobiographies, with Shoe Dog being a personal favourite. He is passionate about health and fitness, learning about wine, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
