Shaylon is a third BBA student at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics and is planning to specialize in finance and minor in economics. Shaylon has been involved with LIFA since his first year of university and has held various roles including: Junior Executive and Analyst. As Vice President of Competitions and Events, he is responsible for planning and executing all LIFA competitions and events during the 2022/23 schoolyear.
Shaylon is currently interning at Altas Partners, where he is focused on evaluating private equity investment opportunities across a variety of industries. This past summer, Shaylon worked as an Investment Summer Analyst on the U.S. Large Cap Equities team at Burgundy Asset Management. His primary responsibilities include analyzing and valuing public investment opportunities using a quality-value investment approach. Previously, he worked at 302 Capital Partners and was actively involved in the firm’s investment evaluation process and has experience analyzing confidential information memorandums, financial information, and overall opportunity attractiveness.
Shaylon is from Mississauga, Ontario where he graduated from Stephen Lewis Secondary School. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, cycling, watching Toronto Raptors games, cooking, and travelling.
