During your internship, you will join a dynamic team, working alongside highly trained professional analysts and portfolio managers. We are looking for someone with related area of study (finance, portfolio management, and accounting) in their 3rd year or last year of university program. Responsibilities
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader JFL relationships, systems and knowledge.
• As a member of the JFL Research team, the successful Co-Op candidate will work along with various Research Analysts performing fundamental research and add hock projects. Projects may include, general research, data organization, financial modeling, valuation, report writing, presentations and/or management team interviews, and/or contributing to the development of new sustainable investing products, ESG data analysis and ongoing evolution of ESG reporting.
• Understand how the JFL’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with the firm’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated PC literacy
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Organized with attention to details

• Bachelor in Business or Economics or another related field
• Member of investment program within their school (an asset).
• Students with top grades and standing (GPA > 3.5 / 4.0.)
• Passion for investment and related fields

• Analytical and accounting skills
• Knowledge of financial modeling
